Hello Fellow Horse Lovers!!

I have had a few inquiries about my rules for volunteers and volunteering. 

I will accept most anyone who will at least feel comfortable around horses to volunteer.

We will train you if you want to learn.  As far as children, the age limit will be 10 and

above.  I want children to be either with their parents or with me or a head volunteer at all times!

The chores we mainly do are:

1.  Rake stalls

2.  Groom horses and pick up horses feet.

3.  Move hay

4.  Pick up trash

5.  Work on trails

6.  Any other chores that might be needed around the barns.

7. Misc.

I do have a sign up sheet for when you come and you can sign up for 1-2 times a

month to volunteer.  More if there are slots open.  I tend to have alot of volunteers

come on one day and then hardly anyone on another!

You will also be required to fill out a liability form in case you get hurt while working on

the ranch.   This will hold me not responsible for any injuries.  If we are careful, we

shouldnt have any injuries!  Everyone needs to listen to instructions from me or my

head volunteers.

We will be eventually be filling out progress sheets on the next horses that we

get from the auctions on March 12, 2005 and after.

Summer hours for volunteers

Saturdays- 9-1pm (or within those times)

1 or 2 Sundays of the month 9-12 pm (or within those times)

And we will eventually have maybe 1-2 days open during the week when it gets 

dark later!

Winter hours will be Saturdays from 1pm to 4 or 5 pm
